In addition to adhering to a specific Code of Ethics, I have adopted the following policies in my practice. By accepting my services, you agree to abide by these policies.
Appointments
Reservations are available for 30 minute and greater time slots. If two people wish to have back to back 15 minute individual sessions, an appointment can be made, but the sessions are billed for each person at the 15 minute rate (which is slightly higher). If one party does not show up, the other party is responsible for the full session booked, and will be billed at the full-session rate instead.

Cancellations and No-Shows
When you book an appointment you will be invoiced shortly after booking. If you cannot keep your appointment, you must properly cancel it or you will still be responsible for the cost of the session. For appointment cancellations, 24 hour notice is required so I can free up the calendar for someone else. If an emergency arises and you cannot provide 24 hour notice, please let me know as soon as you can. The first time you reschedule your appointment for an emergency situation, even on short notice, the appointment is not considered canceled. You will not pay for the vacated slot, only the rebooked time. No-shows or short notice cancellations without a qualifying emergency are billed based on the time that was reserved even though no services were provided.

Observers
I do not allow observers in individual sessions. Working solely with an individual allows me to tune into and focus on them without distraction, and I can be more effective. It also protects client confidentiality. Sometimes unexpected issues surface during a reading and I need to be able to speak freely with the client.

Consent for Minors and Others
For those who cannot provide legal consent, either by reason of age or their mental faculties, I will only provide services if their legal guardian is present at the time the session begins to obtain the guardian's consent directly. The session is still conducted privately without observers. I maintain client confidentiality and will not share the content of the session with the guardian. If the guardian does not consent to that, I will not be able to see the client.

If the session is for a couple or a group (family, work team, etc.) each person in the group must freely consent to participate, and must come with a common purpose or question. I also ask that members promise confidentiality for one another about what is shared in the session.
